Me Without You
By
RL, To K
Like bright colors to
a flower,
Blossoming in the
early spring.
Like big wings to a
butterfly,
Creeping out of a
broken cocoon.
Like yellow-green
leaflets to a seed,
Just awakened from
its bedroom soil.
Like the bright
yellow sun to a dawn,
Growing out of its
darkness.
Imagine a flower
without bright colors
Imagine a butterfly
without its wings
Imagine a seed
without peeping leaflets
Imagine a dawn
without a growing sun.
That would be me.
Me without you.
